This Shipping Policy explains how The Dormanes processes and ships your orders. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Shipping Destination
We currently ship to addresses within South Africa only. International shipping is not available at this time and will only be available after 30 June 2026
2. Shipping Methods & Carriers
We partner with reputable courier services to ensure your order is delivered safely and efficiently. The available shipping methods and carriers will be displayed at checkout based on your location.
3. Order Processing
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment has been confirmed. Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or public holidays.
4. Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, order weight, and dimensions. Any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.

5. Estimated Delivery Times
Once dispatched, estimated delivery times are:
- Major metros (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban): 2–3 business days
- Secondary cities & towns: 3–5 business days
- Remote & outlying areas: 5–7 business days
These are estimates only. Actual delivery times may vary due to courier delays, public holidays, or other factors outside our control.
6. Shipment Confirmation & Tracking
You will receive a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number once your order has been dispatched. Use this number on the courier's website to track your parcel in real time.
7. Incorrect Shipping Address
Please ensure your shipping address is correct at the time of checkout. The Dormanes is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If you notice an error, contact us immediately at info@thedormanes.com and we will do our best to assist before dispatch.
8. Damaged or Lost Shipments
If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We will liaise with the courier on your behalf to resolve the issue promptly.
